Stone Age project

Life in Stone age times
The impact of humans in Nordfriesland can be traced back to the Stone Age. At the end of the last Ice Age, the North Sea region, at that time solid land, was home to large herds of reindeer. Now they move east in the spring and are hunted in the regions of Husum to Ahrenhöft.

  • How did the stone age people live?
  • Which tools and items of clothing did they make?
  • Where did they live?

School classes and groups of children will find the answers to these questions in the Stone Age project at the Nordsee museum. A small display will be prepared for the classroom. Any individual work can be kept by the children.
